Dear Orienteerers,
The Norte Alentejano “O” Meeting is the bet in a quality brand in one of the best areas for orienteering in Portugal. This second edition includes the Sprint and Middle distance National Championships, which represents a added value to the event. The organization wishes that the event have an impact, not only in the high competition, but also the local schools and associations.
We wish you a very pleasant time in Marvão, allways with a healthy competition spirit and respect for mother nature.

The Mayor of Marvão County
It is with great pleasure that we receive here in the County of Marvão,
the organization of the Northern Alentejo ‘O’ Meeting 2012.
This sport fits perfectly the exceptional natural features and morphological
characteristics of our territory that is fully inserted into a protected area,
the Natural Park of Serra de S. Mamede.
Also, I must mention that we feel honored for the organization had thus
considered the County of Marvão.
I wish to welcome the organization and all participants.
