- The winner of NAOM 2021 will be found through the sum of the points of the three stages;
- No athlete will be allowed to start without an SI-card (chip) or with a number different from the one in the registration, changes can be made in advance by e-mail or at the event reception desk;

Open Classes / Description
Easy Short
Any age or sex, individually or in group. The course uses safe linear references. With no technical skills needed and very low physical requirement and a great opportunity for sightseeing;
Difficult Short
Any age or sex, individually or in group.
The course uses safe linear references. Basic technical skills are needed but very low physical skills are required and also with the opportunity for sightseeing;
Easy Long
Any age or sex, individually or in group.
The course uses safe linear references. Basic technical skills are needed and physical skills are required and also with the opportunity for sightseeing;
Difficult Long
Any age or sex, individually or in group.
Formal orienteering course that requires technical orienteering skills and some physical skills. The purpose of this course is the participation of licensed athletes which have sent their entries after the last deadline.
World Ranking Event
– The Sprint race and the Middle distance on February 6th (day 2) will be World Ranking Events for Elite classes.
– During that races, GPS watches with map display won’t be allowed in Elite classes.
Race time limits
The race time limits are:
Middle Distance – 2 hours
Sprint – 1 hour
Prizes
WRE – Five best in M/W Elite
NAOM 2021 – Prizes for the 3 best classified in all classes (5 in ME e WE). Awards for the 3 clubs with highest score.
Laundry service
The service will be assured in the Arena by Massage 4U Portugal
Price – 10,00€ | 2 massages – 15,00€
Sport insurance
– Athletes affiliated in FPO are covered by FPO insurance;
– National and Portuguese resident non-affiliated athletes are covered by POF insurance;
– Foreign and/or non-resident athletes are not covered by any insurance. They should provide for their own security and insurance.
Locations / Directions
Participants should follow the organization’s instructions regarding access to event venues and parking. The main route to follow is the IP2 to Alagoa, direction Castelo de Vide. The locations page has the coordinates for all the event’s locations.
Accommodation
Hard floor:
sleeping floor will be made available at municipal pavilion of Santo António das Areias. Participants must bring their own mattress and sleeping bag.
